Our busta is a very anxious dog and can be tetchy at times we explained this when we needed to make him an appointment and they were amazing gave us a quieter appointment time and even let us wait in a empty consultation room till the very was ready to see him The vet was amazing with him and let us lead on how best to deal with him he’s due an operation next week and the plan was made with us on how to do this again for everyone’s safety They really do go above and beyond to make sure your pet and you are at ease by far the best around and not with the expensive price tag either

Southwater was recommended to me by a friend. Today was the second time I have visited, the first time was for a stray cat, today for own kitten. Both times we saw Naomi, and she was absolutely brilliant and did so much to help my kitten who is hopefully now on the mend ❤️‍🩹 I feel they went above & beyond rather than fobbing me off with expensive & unnecessary procedures. Wonderful to find an independent vet and I can see that all the staff really care about the animals they’re treating. I have long thought there is a need for a veterinary practice that puts pets before (obscene) profit, we are fortunate to have one.

So grateful to this vets. My dog Polo has been a couple of times and for years my moms been bringing her dogs, without doubt this small independent gives the best advice and treatments for our dogs. The receptionists are personal and really make you feel welcome, safe and the care the animals all get is outstanding. Thank you all for your hard work and for helping us keep our pets healthy and happy. 🤍

Ryan and the team saw us today at short notice. Our puppy was ill and they were kind, attentive and as always professional and knowledgeable. They always put my mind at rest with their confidence and skills, they treated our puppy like one of their own. It was her first experience there and she enjoyed the attention. Fantastic service from all the team. Highly recommended them, they are fantastic 👏

Southwater Vets have been absolutely amazing. My dog had a 1 cm bladder stone and a possible cyst, and I came to them after feeling really let down elsewhere. From the very first phone call with Mel at reception, I felt listened to and cared for. Dr. Catalin Demeter and his team were incredible - professional, compassionate, and genuinely kind. They took the time to explain everything clearly and gave me complete confidence that my dog was in the best hands. The surgery went smoothly, and the care my dog received before, during, and after has been outstanding. I am beyond grateful to everyone at Southwater Vets. They are true professionals who really care about animals and their families. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for vets who go above and beyond. Five stars are not enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Your pets will be in the safest of hands here. Everything is on site, meaning that you can get everything you need done in the one go. For example, you can get blood tests done for thyroid function and get the results within 30 minutes so that you can go home with the treatment you need to make your pet feel better on the same day. The vet skill level at this practice is exemplary meaning that it would be an excellent, forward thinking, place for a new vet/vet nurse to work. Good luck for the future. Southwater are not my usual vets, my kitten had two visits to this surgery and I was very impressed with the service all round - front desk team, nurses and the vet I dealt with were helpful, friendly and informative. Thank you from me & Ziggy for making the visits easy for both of us!

Excellent compassionate treatment for our beloved cat Penny. After a swift (as theatre on site) and effective operation on her tongue, she is now recovering well. Couldn't ask for better care for her. The receptionists welcomed us and put our minds at rest that she would get the best treatment. Thank you Carwyn and Leanne xx

Very lovely staff, it was our first visit and what a surprised they have a cat corner ( waiting room) where you can put the carriers cages rather than keep them on the floor. Nice peaceful corner to prevent from stressing cats too much from noise and dogs wandering around! Lovely staff! Recommend and very glad to find them also very good parking !
