Vets Now Telford is part of Vets Now, a UK-wide network focused on out-of-hours and emergency veterinary care (including video consultations). Based on the latest reviews available, it appears set up for urgent presentations that can’t wait for a regular daytime appointment—owners describe being booked in quickly, being greeted at the door, and pets being assessed and treated immediately (including a 1am visit for an eye infection). Reviews also describe coordination back to a pet’s regular vet after overnight care, including a promised follow-up call and arranging transfer for ongoing treatment.
There’s a clear split in review experiences around access and policies: some owners describe rapid help and strong communication, while one review describes being refused help without bringing the dog in (including refusal to test a urine sample or provide a home visit).
Google rating: 4 stars from 208 reviews.

Amazing service. I called for the first time, was immediately booked in to an out of hours vet 10 minutes away, they greeted me at the door and gave an outstanding service includling a hug for me as I was a bit shook up! Very impressed thank you. Kimi Dicken xx

The vet and vet nurse were lovely but I was disgusted with the £302.50 out of hours consultation charge, it was a Saturday afternoon not like it was in the middle of the night. The consultation was only 10 to 15 minutes. Daylight robbery.

No where near us were open after 12pm on the Saturday and it was Bank Holiday Monday too. We knew our dog was declining but not quite the time. Our vets wanted him there by 12pm to put him to sleep just for their convenience. He had another day but when we called our vets out of hours number they weren't open either but gave number for vets now. Quite a distance and a long wait well probably seemed longer than it was but Harvey was calm and had his family with him as watched the world go by. The vet was lovely, explained everything. The other lady was a bit loud not sure if she was a nurse or vet. Didn't realise at time as concentration was on baby that my daughter was squeezed out. There wasn't much room. I'm just thankful these places exist and tbh disgusted by lack of help by the vets you've been taking your baby to for all their lives. Not like it's NHS they charge a fortune at normal rates. Added. I wasn't referring to your rates completely understand there was a lot more involved, it was our own vets I was annoyed at. I apologise for that misunderstanding.

I rang on Sunday morning, my dog was (is) very unwell, not eating, barely drinking, incontinent and unable to walk even with support. She is very elderly and has a history of uti's and having tested her urine I knew that that was what the problem was. She weighs 40 kg. I explained I couldn't physically get her to the practice, she was too unwell and too heavy. She is actually with the practice Vets now are based at, so I asked them to access her medical history, they said they weren't able to. I asked if I could bring her urine sample in so they could check it and prescribe antibiotics. They refused saying she had to come in. I asked for a home visit, they said they don't do home visits because they don't have enough staff. They appeared more concerned about explaining their costs and requesting i.d, insurance etc than about an animal who was suffering. I gave up. I would like to know why vets now are unable to access the medical notes of an animal who is with the practice they are based at? I would like to know why given the vast amount they charge they are short staffed? I would like to know what people who are unable to get their animal to the surgery in an emergency are supposed to do?

Brought our dog to the clinic at 1am on a Saturday evening. Poor boy has an eye infection. He was thoroughly checked out and treated immediately. Extremely professional and compassionate team. My boy is now on the mend and I would like to express my most sincerely appreciation for the impeccable care he has received. Definitely a 5 star establishment

Very good service, got the number from our own vets out of hours cover. Was sent directions to the closest vet to us. Greeted by a lovely nurse and the vet was excellent. She listened to the recent history and advised us accordingly. Back home the dog has responded to the treatment.

Hi I would like to say a massive massive thankyou to Karl who saved the life of my 8month old sprocker. I took my Harvey to vets now and on arrival he went into shock,I was told to brace myself as Karl did not think Harvey would survive the night. He promised to call me in a couple of hours which he did. Karl cared for Harvey through the night and then arranged for my own vet to be ready to take Harvey first thing to continue the care. Harvey had apparently swallowed a stone which obstructed his small intestine, after having an op Harvey is now back at home recovering, mad as ever. Again thankyou Karl.
